Year of the dragon

What a crazy couple of weeks. The work is finally starting to go out so I think I might get to sleep next week. Last week was my first Chinese new year and it was pretty cool: extra days off, lots of snacks around, and lots of enthusiasm around the city. I spent it with some Chinese friends so I could get the full experience. I'm off to go razzed dazzle the client, but wanted to slip in a quick post in transit. I hope a three of you that read this are doing well.

Getting settled in

Hello out there. I hear it's fairly chilly back state side, which is to be expected. Things here progress at a rate unlike anything I have ever seen. I can not believe this is only week 3. Work, hmmm... How can I describe it...? The opportunities are amazing, but the number of projects and time given to do them make achieving greatness this soon virtually impossible. My account director told me I need to "embrace the failure and rejection"... Very inspiring. So little by little I'm trying to improve and convince the powers that be that they did not make a mistake bringing me here.

So this weekend will be my first Chinese new year. It's the year of the dragon, if you didn't know, so it's a very big deal. I'll grab some photos this weekend and try to do a few posts so you can see what I mean.

Mathew
